Qualifications:

Current ME DOE State Licensure (282 certification considered; conditional accepted) CHRC (Maine DOE Background Check) required Previous experience in special education settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to individualized education and student development

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs Foster a supportive and structured learning environment emphasizing adaptive life skills Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and related service providers to support student goals Utilize evidence-based practices and data-driven instructional strategies Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal mandates Provide consistent feedback and support to students to encourage growth and independence This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, for the entire 2026-2027 academic year.
