Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Empower high school students to reach their potential by stepping into a full-time Special Education teaching opportunity. This contract position focuses on supporting a 9th to 12th grade self-contained classroom and calls for a dedicated professional with expertise in special education. The ideal candidate will have a current Special Education Teacher certification paired with a cognitive impairment endorsement, demonstrating a passion for guiding students with diverse learning needs. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an inclusive, engaging environment through the Full School Year (FSY).
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Cognitive impairment endorsement required Experience working with students with cognitive impairments preferred Commitment to individualized education and inclusive practices Strong communication skills and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
