Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education or Education Administration Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher and/or Director Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and all relevant state/federal regulations Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs and district-level programming Experience providing guidance and professional development to educational staff Leadership skills in fostering collaborative relationships with families, teachers, and stakeholders
