In this role, you'll work with: Elementary Classroom Caseload of 6 students Students require toileting assistance but have no feeding needs A dedicated Teaching Assistant and Behavior Technician to support daily routines Middle School Classroom Caseload of 11 students One student with a feeding tube; others have no behavioral needs Some students require toileting assistance Support includes 3 full-time Teaching Assistants, 1 Lead Teacher, and a 1:1 assistant for the medically complex student Preferred Background and Experience Certified in Special Education Experience with self-contained classrooms or supporting students with varied needs Comfortable providing personal care, including toileting support Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate closely with assistants and specialists Able to create an inclusive, positive classroom climate Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver individualized instruction and support Implement IEP goals and collaborate with related service providers Foster communication with families and caregivers Ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment Provide compassionate, dignified toileting assistance as needed Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs You'll enjoy working alongside a dedicated staff, making a difference for students in both elementary and middle school settings.
