Job Description

A school district in Illinois is seeking 4 full-time Special Education Teachers for the 2026 school year.
Assignment Dates:
January 7, 2026 - May 22, 2026
Schedule:
37.5 hours per week 1 school assigned per position
Position Overview:
Provide special education instruction across elementary, middle, and high school settings Support students in self-contained and resource classrooms Implement IEP goals and provide academic and behavioral support Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and related service providers Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings Work in a supportive school environment with strong communication Caseload /
Job Details:
1. ECS Self-Contained (K-2) Teacher - West Oxford Elementary Approximately 8 students Supported by a TA and additional ECS teacher on site Focus on foundational academic and behavioral skill development 2. Middle School Resource Teacher (Behavioral Support) Resource classroom with behavioral needs Provide academic instruction and behavior interventions Support student regulation and classroom participation 3. Middle School Standard Resource Teacher Resource classroom support for middle school students Provide academic support aligned with IEP goals Support inclusion and classroom access 4. High School Standard Resource Teacher Resource classroom support for high school students Support academic achievement and transition skills Assist with post-secondary readiness skills
Requirements:
