Qualifications & Experience:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification) Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Ability to modify curriculum to suit individual student needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff Organization, adaptability, and a passion for student advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and deliver instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure coordinated support Track and report on student progress and adapt strategies accordingly Participate in multidisciplinary meetings regarding student progress and program planning Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth Utilize a variety of teaching methods, technology, and resources to maximize learning
