Key Qualifications:

Hold active and current licensure as a Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Prior experience teaching students with hearing impairments is highly preferred Strong communication skills, both oral and written Adaptability when working across different schools and teams Confidence in managing a full-time caseload and planning individualized instructional strategies

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative educational services to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students across multiple campuses Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Travel between assigned schools during regular hours (8am-4pm) Deliver instruction using both auditory/oral and visual/manual approaches as appropriate Support classroom teachers with strategies and resources for inclusion Communicate regularly with families to support student progress Maintain documentation and comply with state and district requirements
