Responsibilities Provide direct special education instruction to students with diverse learning needs in school-based settings. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with IDEA requirements. Use data-driven strategies to track student progress and adjust instruction and interventions. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school teams to support inclusion. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, goals, and supports. Implement behavior support strategies and classroom management plans to promote positive student outcomes. Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal special education regulations. Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives. Utilize assistive technology and accommodations to support student access to learning.
