This contract position serves a unique program—combining special education and transition services—for students from multiple districts in an independent facility designed to foster academic and personal growth. Supporting grade levels 6 through 12, you'll work alongside a dedicated team in a building that operates outside traditional district campuses, providing a focused environment tailored to student needs.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (NJ) Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs, ideally grades 6-12 Flexibility and adaptability in a collaborative, multi-district program environment Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and families Commitment to individualized instruction, IEP implementation, and transitional support
Primary Responsibilities:
