Job Description

This full-time, contracted assignment spans the entire school year, working closely with a small group of approximately eight students across grades K-12. Embrace a balanced work-life schedule with the unique benefit of a four-day work week, running Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:20 PM. You'll be based at a single campus, allowing you to focus on building strong and lasting relationships with your students and colleagues. The role begins with teacher orientation on August 4th, followed by the first day of classes on August 10th.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience in SPED classroom settings preferred Ability to create and implement IEPs for diverse learners Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with best practices in inclusive and individualized instruction Comfortable working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each learner Deliver engaging instruction to a multi-grade classroom Monitor and document student progress toward individualized goals Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment
