Required Application Type Teacher / Admin Salary/Pay Scale $160+ per day Job Description Avon Central School District has an anticipated opening for a special education (Middle School) substitute for a leave of absence, starting on or around October 12, 2026 and ending on or around December 21, 2026. Avon Central School District is the center of learning for approximately 950 students from Universal Pre-K through grade 12. Located in northern Livingston County, the district combines the benefits of a tight-knit rural community with proximity to the technology and cultural opportunities of Rochester, New York, just 20 miles to the north. Job Qualifications New York State Teaching Certification is required. Candidates should possess a broad set of effective teaching and learning skills to engage learners of all levels.
