hours Supportive and responsive administrative team Paperless documentation and ongoing support Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a school-based setting Implement IEP goals and collaborate with classroom staff and related service providers Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and district personnel Requirements Active New York State Students with Disabilities (All Grades) certification required Experience working with school-aged students preferred Daytime availability required Reliable transportation to Uniondale Fingerprinting and credential clearance required Preferred Qualifications Previous school-based teaching experience Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to manage documentation and IEP-related responsibilities If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school community, with the flexibility to build a larger caseload through additional placements if desired, we'd love to hear from you!
