Responsibilities include:

Delivering specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students via telehealth platforms. Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on visual disabilities. Collaborating with families, school staff, and service providers to ensure cohesive support. Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly. Utilizing assistive technologies and adaptive materials to facilitate learning.

Qualifications and desired experience:

Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI). Proven experience providing instruction and support to visually impaired students. Familiarity with telehealth delivery methods and associated technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in remote educational settings.
