Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting K-6th grade students by providing high-impact special education services in a resource, push-in, and pull-out instructional setting. This contract opportunity, conveniently located near Smoaks, SC, runs Monday through Friday from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM. With a manageable caseload of 36 students and dedicated para support, you'll collaborate closely with both general and special education teams to promote academic growth and achieve Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
What You'll Bring:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (required) Experience supporting K-6th grade students with diverse learning needs Strong knowledge of resource, push-in, and pull-out support models Ability to develop, implement, and track IEPs effectively Familiarity with differentiated instruction, data collection, and progress monitoring Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and staff Collaborative spirit and commitment to inclusive education practices How You'll Make an
