Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching license/certification eligible for Tennessee. Bachelors degree (at minimum) in Special Education or related field. Recent classroom or resource room experience with K-12 students. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and school cultures.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and parents. Provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students with special needs.
