Job Description

Company Overview The Kid's Corral is a locally owned and operated early childhood education provider dedicated to delivering high-quality educational care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our Providence center features spacious classrooms, outdoor play areas, and engaging activities designed to foster development, creativity, and social skills in a nurturing environment. Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team and inspire young learners during the crucial early years. This full-time position runs from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the educational experiences of preschool children through innovative lesson planning, classroom management, and child development instruction. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education, experience working with young children, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that promote early childhood development, including toddler care and preschool teaching strategies. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and supportive atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through clear and compassionate dialogue. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent instructional quality. Incorporate child welfare practices, first aid and CPR procedures, and classroom safety protocols into daily routines. Skills Proven experience in early childhood education with a focus on preschool or toddler care. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and childhood development principles. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to implement standardized testing methods relevant to early childhood assessment. Experience working within private school environments or similar educational settings preferred. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws, child welfare practices, and first aid/CPR certification. Skills in teaching physical education activities, math concepts, literacy education, and behavior management strategies. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
