Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners during this critical stage of early childhood development. Your leadership will guide a team of educators in delivering developmentally appropriate activities that foster independence, literacy, and early math skills while ensuring each child's individual needs are met. With the Dual Immersion program, all teachers must perform teaching moments ina bilingul setting: English and Spanish. Header Duties Develop and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum tailored to two-year-olds that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Lead daily classroom activities including circle time, play-based learning, arts and crafts, music, movement, and outdoor exploration to stimulate curiosity and engagement in both English & Spanish. Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene with patience and professionalism to ensure a nurturing environment. Observe and assess each child's developmental progress using standardized testing methods and document findings to inform instruction and parent communication. Foster positive behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation, respect, and emotional regulation among toddlers. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to build strong collaborative relationships. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or student interns to maintain high-quality classroom standards and professional growth. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations at all times. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment aligned with health standards for childcare settings. Header Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood education settings, specifically with toddlers aged two years old. Strong knowledge of child development principles, including literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and Montessori methods. Proven ability in curriculum development tailored to toddler care that integrates sensory activities with foundational learning concepts. Skilled in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and effective routines. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff members, and community partners. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies for diverse learner needs. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare compliance. First aid and CPR certification to respond promptly to emergencies. Experience in using standardized testing tools for assessment purposes within preschool or daycare environments. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate physical activity, literacy skills, numeracy concepts, and social-emotional learning. Pay:
