Key Details:

Full-time, 40 hours weekly (MondayFriday, 8:00 am4:00 pm) Contract runs through May 21 Caseload of 10 students within a third-grade special education classroom General education curriculum focus

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching certification Demonstrated experience working with elementary-age students, preferably in a special education setting Strong grasp of developing and implementing IEPs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom atmosphere Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging instruction aligned with the general education curriculum, modified for individual student needs Maintain and monitor individualized education plans for each student Build positive, supportive relationships with students, families, and staff Track and report student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Create an environment that encourages student participation, growth, and independence
