Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current Virginia Department of Education certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) required Experience serving students with visual impairments in PreK-12th grade settings preferred Strong assessment, instruction, and consultative skills across a range of student abilities Must begin VA Dept. of Social Services background check and complete a TB test promptly Adaptability and strong communication skills for working with multiple schools and diverse student needs
