Responsibilities Provide consistent classroom support by assisting lead teachers in implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum development standards. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Support children's individual needs through early intervention strategies and behavior management techniques. Assist with classroom management to maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns in accordance with child welfare guidelines. Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child safety or well-being. Contribute to lesson planning efforts by preparing materials and adapting activities for diverse learners, including those in special education or requiring additional support. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development instruction, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with early childhood education principles, preschool teaching practices, and toddler care. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Experience with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education is advantageous. Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining flexibility across different classrooms and age groups.
