This contract role begins August 18, 2026, and continues through June 3, 2027. Work Monday through Friday with a cross-categorical caseload projected at 1620 students in grades 912. Required qualifications and experience:

Active Wisconsin Special Education certification/license is mandatory Previous experience working with high school students in a special education setting preferred Understanding of diverse learning needs and ability to differentiate instruction Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with educational assistants, general educators, families, and support staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment Responsibilities will include: Managing a cross-categorical caseload of 1620 students, addressing a broad range of learning needs Developing and implementing effective IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborating with educational assistants to provide individualized support for students Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and participation Working closely with families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement Providing classroom leadership while modeling patience, adaptability, and creativity This contract opportunity allows you to expand your skills in a rewarding, impactful role.
