Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. Engage in meaningful work as a Special Education Teacher, making an impact in the lives of students by providing hands-on support in specialized elementary and high school programs. This onsite role offers the chance to work closely with students in two elementary Autism programs, an early childhood assignment, and a high school intellectual disability program.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Strong background working with students in specialized settings Experience in Autism programs and/or supporting students with intellectual disabilities Behavior Endorsements required Elementary Special Education endorsement preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Support and instruct students within Autism programs at the elementary level, Early Childhood, or high school intellectual disabilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure each students needs are met Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Engage with families and caregivers to provide updates and resources Monitor and record student progress, adapting instruction as needed This position is a contract role running from late August 2026 through early June 2027, with a 40-hour onsite schedule each week.
