What You'll Bring:

Bachelors degree (B.A.) or higher is required Current state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) is mandatory Experience with 1:1 educational settings preferred, especially with school-aged pediatric populations Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Patience, creativity, and adaptability to maximize every students potential

Your Core Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized, on-site instruction to a student with visual impairments, ensuring equal access to learning opportunities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the student's needs and abilities Adapt and create accessible learning materials Incorporate assistive technology and other resources to advance student progress Provide ongoing guidance and advocacy for the student within the educational environment Maintain thorough documentation and participate in meetings with the educational team
