School Year:

2026-2027 St. Thomas's is a coeducational independent day school serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 6. The School welcomes children of all backgrounds, with the belief that children who learn and grow together develop openness and respect for others. Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Head of School, the Substitute Teacher will execute lesson plans left by the classroom teacher while creating a safe, nurturing learning environment. The Substitute Teacher will supervise and support students in accordance with the School's mission, goals and objectives, and philosophy of teaching and learning. Qualifications

Possess a love for children and a passion for making learning fun and interesting.
Maintain a positive attitude and strive for professional excellence at all times.
Work collaboratively with others.
Be flexible.
Bachelor's Degree in Education.
Experience working with children. Characteristics of Professional Excellence
