Qualifications & Experience:

Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit (must be in hand; the district does not accept permits pending approvalplease upload documentation with your application) Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in educational settings preferred Ability to pay a $85 CBC fingerprinting fee and undergo required background checks, TB testing, and complete a Child Protective Registry Check (all documentation must be complete prior to start) Willingness to complete a Contractor packet and participate in onboarding processes Strong communication and team collaboration skills For RBT-certified candidates: supervision must be managed outside of district hours; duties and compensation are classified as

Paraprofessional Key Responsibilities:

Support classroom instruction and student participation under teacher direction Provide individualized or group assistance to students of varying abilities Facilitate classroom activities, prepare materials, and reinforce learning objectives Track student progress and document observations as needed Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
