9700421-19702 Job Description Step into a meaningful role as a Paraprofessional, providing essential support to educators and students in a dynamic academic setting near Newark, DE. This contract position runs from November 24, 2026, through January 12, 2027, covering a leave of absence. You'll work onsite Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid and current Delaware Paraeducator Permit (pending permits are not accepted; DEEDS portal screenshot required if permit is pending). Experience working in school settings as a paraprofessional or in a similar capacity is highly valued. Willingness to complete required background checks, including $85 CBC fingerprinting, TB test (unless virtual), Fingerprint Receipt, and Child Protective Registry Check. Ability to complete district Contractor packet prior to start, and participate in badge appointment post-approval. If holding RBT credentials, must arrange BCBA supervision independently, outside of school hours. Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
