Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School (LCPCS) Are you passionate about education and looking for a flexible opportunity to make a difference in students' lives? Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School (LCPCS) is seeking dedicated and qualified individuals to join our team as Substitute Teachers . As a Substitute Teacher at LCPCS, you will step in to maintain classroom continuity and provide engaging instruction across various subjects when the regular teacher is absent. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and contribute to a positive learning environment where "every student is known, valued, and loved." Key Responsibilities Implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher effectively. Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment, adhering to school policies. Manage student behavior in accordance with LCPCS expectations. Take attendance and follow all school procedures and schedules. Provide instruction in core subjects including Mathematics , Reading/Language Arts , Science , and Social Studies . ✅ Required Qualifications & Daily Pay Rates Compensation for Substitute Teachers is paid at a daily rate based on the class for which they qualify. The minimum requirement for this role is a Bachelor's Degree (qualifying for Class II or III), along with proven classroom management skills.
