Job Description

The Bromfield MIddle School is seeking a Long-Term 7th-Grade English Language Arts Substitute Teacher.

Approximate Dates:

October 19, 2026 through January 22, 2027.

Preferred candidates will possess:

•Experience teaching English Language Arts at the middle school level.

Knowledge of the Massachusetts English Language Arts and Literacy Frameworks and their guiding principles.

A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The ability to establish effective working relationships with students, caregivers, colleagues, and the community.

Strong classroom management skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Experience working in a 1:1 technology environment.

Job Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred

Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in English Grades 5-12, including SEI endorsement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of capability with technology

Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
