Job Description
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated educator to join our Pine Grove School community as a second-grade parental leave teacher from October 2026 through the beginning of February 2027. The ideal candidate will create a positive, inclusive classroom where all students feel valued and excited to learn. We are looking for someone who builds strong relationships, collaborates with colleagues, differentiates instruction, and brings creativity and a genuine love of children to the classroom.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the classroom teacher, grade-level team, and special educators.
2. Support all students in the classroom, including those on IEPs and 504s.
3. Advocate for students and provide a rich learning environment.
4. Maintain an organized, efficient learning environment.
5. Familiarity with DIBELS, Fundations, iReady, Math in Focus, Amplify CKLA a plus.
6. Understanding of child development and how to support students with specific needs not on an IEP or 504.
