Duties Provide seamless instructional support across multiple classrooms, adapting to different curricula and teaching styles as needed Implement lesson plans and curriculum activities designed for early childhood or elementary levels, ensuring alignment with educational standards Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for all students Support classroom management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional development Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and classroom activities Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and staff to coordinate instructional efforts and share best practices Utilize educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences and engage students actively Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation tailored to various age groups Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds, including those with special needs such as autism or requiring special education services Proficiency in behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies to maintain an organized learning environment Familiarity with early childhood education principles, literacy education, math instruction, Montessori methods, preschool experience, and childcare practices Ability to adapt instruction based on individual student needs through instructional flexibility and tutoring skills Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher communication and team collaboration Knowledge of mandated reporting laws, school policies, and procedures related to childhood development and safety regulations Competence in using educational technologies and computers to support instruction and student engagement This role is ideal for passionate educators eager to make a positive impact across multiple classrooms while honing their teaching skills.
