Position Title:

Substitute Teacher 26-27

Brief Description:

Substitute Teachers lead instruction in assigned classrooms in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Substitute Teachers are responsible for helping students build knowledge and skills according to teacher-planned lessons. Once hired, Substitute Teachers accept day-to-day assignments across all schools in the Ithaca City School District.

Required Qualifications:

All candidates must possess New York State Teacher Certification OR a minimum 60 college credits.
