Key Qualifications:

Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support capacity is highly desirable Familiarity with elementary and/or middle school learning environments Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for diverse learners Willingness to apply for the state para exam as part of the onboarding process Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Display patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in adapting to students needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Support classroom instruction under the direction of the lead teacher Work closely with students individually or in small groups to reinforce lessons and provide academic assistance Aid in classroom management, supervision, and safety of students throughout the day Assist with preparation and organization of instructional materials and activities Contribute to a collaborative and positive classroom culture, supporting both educational and social development Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies
