Substitute Teacher (School Year of 2026-2027)

PRIMARY PURPOSE

: Responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student leaning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 60 college hours from an accredited college

Substitute Paraprofessional

PRIMARY PURPOSE

A substitute paraprofessional - clerical is responsible for assisting the campus staff in performing a wide variety of clerical duties in the absence of the regular clerk.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED; and Two years of study at an institution of higher education totaling 48 hours, or Associate's Degree, or Passing score on the "Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies" exam, to be administered by Alvin ISD (
