Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Long Term Substitute Teacher for English 12 to join our educational team. This role is essential in maintaining continuity in the curriculum and ensuring that students receive a high-quality education during the absence of the regular teacher. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the established curriculum for English language and literature.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and classroom participation.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain classroom management and discipline in alignment with school policies.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and behavior.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support school-wide initiatives and events.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
• Fulfill all administrative duties, including attendance tracking and grading, in a timely manner.
• Adapt to the needs of the students and make modifications to lessons as necessary. Requirements
