Job Summary El Seven Inc. Youth Haven is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as After-School Program Assistants. Our program provides elementary and middle school students with a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where they can learn, build confidence, develop friendships, and discover their potential. We are looking for team members who bring positive energy, patience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with students during daily after-school activities.
• Assist students with homework, tutoring, and educational enrichment.
• Lead and participate in recreational activities, sports, arts and crafts, and group games.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution.
• Build meaningful relationships with students while serving as a positive role model.
• Assist with student attendance, check-in, and dismissal procedures.
• Help distribute snacks and meals.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe program spaces.
• Assist with field trips, community events, and special activities.
• Communicate effectively with program staff, supervisors, and parents.
• Follow all organizational policies, safety procedures, and child protection guidelines. Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with elementary and middle school students.
• Dependable, punctual, patient, and responsible.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to manage groups of children and respond appropriately to behavioral challenges.
• Must be able to pass required background checks.

Work Schedule Monday through Friday

Afternoon shifts during after-school program hours. Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
