Two enthusiastic ParaEducators are sought for contract positions, with immediate openings through June 11th, 2027. These full-time roles (30 hours per week) offer the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant school community, working closely with children in grades TK through 6th.

Available opportunities include:

Classroom Aide within a Special Day Class setting, providing essential support for students in a self-contained environment. This role includes assisting with academic activities as well as providing toileting support when needed. 1:1 ParaEducator position, working individually with an elementary student to offer focused attention and tailored educational assistance.

Desired qualifications:

Prior experience in a paraprofessional role, particularly within special education, is highly regarded. Bilingual candidates, especially those comfortable working with young children, are encouraged to apply. Candidates must already be onboarded. A compassionate, adaptable nature and the ability to foster a supportive classroom environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork with teachers and staff.

Responsibilities include:

Offering day-to-day classroom assistance, supporting instructional activities and student engagement. Providing individualized support for students with special needs, ensuring their participation and success. Assisting with daily living tasks, including toileting, when necessary. Promoting a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture. Collaborating with educators and school teams to meet students diverse needs.
