This contract opportunity is available immediately through late May, working closely with a small caseload of students requiring significant support needs. Key Qualifications:

Experience as a paraprofessional, particularly within school environments Strong ability to support students with significant needs Comfort working with middle school age groups (6th8th grade) Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in diverse educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to a caseload of five students within a significant support needs classroom Assist with academic activities and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) under teacher direction Foster an inclusive, safe classroom climate by encouraging positive behaviors and participation Supervise students during classroom and transition times, ensuring safety and engagement Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to adapt activities and promote student growth Document student progress and provide input for team meetings as needed

Position Details:

Contract role, available for immediate start through late May 35 hours per week; schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:40 am to 3:50 pm, and Wednesday from 9:40 am to 3:50 pm Work within a welcoming middle school environment If youre passionate about supporting students who need you most, your background in education and enthusiasm for empowering young learners will thrive in this setting.
