Job Description

KinderCare is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Cherrelyn learning center. In this role, you'll support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. You will help implement age-appropriate lessons, supervise children during classroom and play activities, and encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized classroom, following health and safety procedures, and communicating positively with families and staff. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing classroom and playground environment. Support social, emotional, and cognitive development through guided play and interaction. Help maintain organized, clean, and engaging learning spaces and materials. Communicate positively with children, families, and team members. Follow health, safety, and center policies, including meal, rest, and hygiene routines. Observe and report children's progress and behavior to lead teachers. Participate in team meetings and ongoing training and development.
