If you enjoy helping young children learn and grow and work well as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Work alongside the lead teacher to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom. Assist with daily lessons, learning activities, and classroom routines. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom and supervise children throughout the day. Use positive guidance and build supportive relationships with children and families. Follow Georgia Pre-K, DECAL, and center policies and procedures. Participate in required training and professional development. Requirements 2-3 years of experience working with GA PREK children is required. Must already have a credential or degree that qualifies for a Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher position, such as a valid CDA, Georgia paraprofessional certificate, qualifying early childhood education certificate or diploma, or an associate degree or higher. Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills. Dependable, patient, organized, and able to take initiative.
