Job Description

HeaderJob Summary Join our vibrant Kumon team as an Early Learner Center Assistant dedicated to fostering a positive, engaging, and structured educational environment for young children ages 3-7 years old. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to students in a small group setting and work directly with students assisting them with math, reading and writing worksheets. You will also be communicating with parents and working alongside other Kumon Center Assistants. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a positive and supportive learning environment where children become independent learners and progress in their math, reading and writing skills confidently. HeaderDuties Support students in completing their worksheets while utilizing the Kumon study method, techniques and strategies. Provide a happy and safe learning environment. Assist with center management strategies to promote positive behavior and foster a respectful learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily experiences, maintaining transparency and trust. Use educational technologies such as computers and Kumon related tools to enhance learning experiences. Help prepare students for academic success. Assist in lesson planning, goal setting, inputting monthly reports and maintaining accurate records of progress. HeaderExperience Prior experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
