Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with babies. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infant-aged children. As an assistant teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our students. Responsibilities Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support the growth and development of each child. Incorporate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Follow cleaning guidelines and schedules set forth by the lead teacher and toddler program Follow a daily routine and schedule of activities, meal times and take guidance from lead teacher Work well with co-teachers and leads completing tasks in the classroom environment Help out between multiple classrooms in the infant center and be flexible on where you work Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Experience Previous experience in daycare, preschool settings, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Skills in behavior management to effectively address various classroom situations.
