Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can truly make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to provide vital support to our Special Education Teachers, Classroom Teachers, and Administrators. In this role, you will help students achieve the goals and objectives outlined in their Individual Education Plans (IEPs) through tailored individual, small-group, or whole-group instruction.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have high school diploma or equivalent and accumulated thirty-two college credits or be able to pass the Paraprofessional Praxis exam.
• Previous aide or teaching experience preferred
• The ability to work with students with emotional, physical, and mental disabilities
• Ability to instruct students one-on-one and small group situations, at the direction of the Special Education Teacher
• Works well with students, staff, and the public
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
• Must have or be able to get CPR/First Aid Certified
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds
