Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher(Infant Room) to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will support classroom teacher by assisting with daily activities, managing classroom routines, and providing exceptional care and education to young learners. At times you may be used as a floater where you will have the opportunity to work across multiple classrooms, gaining diverse experience while ensuring a nurturing and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and child safety. Engage children through age-appropriate activities that encourage social-emotional growth, behavior management, and developmental milestones. Provide hands-on care for children, including infant care and preschool activities, ensuring their physical needs are met with compassion and attention. Collaborate with team members to adapt instructional strategies for children with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences. Assist with classroom organization, lesson planning, and curriculum development Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with caring for infants and knowledge of their daily needs. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage children positively. Ability to adapt quickly in a floating role across multiple classrooms while maintaining consistency in care and instruction.
