Assistant Toddler Teacher

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children in our toddler program. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster early childhood development, encourage curiosity, and promote positive social interactions. FRIDAY 10
30 AM - 6 PM Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of toddlers Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, napping, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards Engage children through interactive play, storytelling, music, and educational exercises to foster curiosity and learning Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment by sanitizing surfaces, and materials regularly Communicate effectively with staff and children to build trust and partnerships Follow all mandated reporting laws and health protocols to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and safety regulations Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) including pediatric first aid training Strong classroom management skills with the ability to supervise multiple children simultaneously Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to follow detailed instructions related to childcare routines and safety procedures Passion for nurturing children's growth through engaging teaching methods and caregiving skills Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
