Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young learners' growth and development, creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children in our care. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote early childhood development Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with daily routines such as meal times, diapering, nap times, and bathroom breaks with patience and care Engage children in educational activities that develop social skills, language, motor skills, and creativity Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and needs Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws when necessary Requirements Prior experience working with young children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles is highly valued Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) including pediatric first aid training Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within the staff team Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm for children's learning journeys This role is ideal for passionate individuals committed to fostering early childhood growth through engaging activities, compassionate supervision, and collaborative teamwork.
