This position supports the daily operation of classrooms serving infants and toddlers by working closely with the lead educator to ensure a nurturing and well-organized environment. Responsibilities include assisting with the supervision and care of young children in both indoor and outdoor settings, helping implement age-appropriate activities, and preparing materials that encourage exploration and development. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the learning space, as well as collaborating with families to help address each child's individual needs and routines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition, candidates should meet one of the following criteria: hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential specific to infant/toddler care; be actively pursuing a degree in child development or early childhood education; or be enrolled in a CDA program with completion expected within two years of employment.
COMPENSATION
Jefferson Co. $16.80 - $25.38. Compensation is based on verified education and experience.
