Froggie's Childcare Inc. is a childcare center based in Belle Chasse, LA that has been serving the community in child care needs over the last 30 years. Our goal is to provide a high quality early childhood program within a safe and nurturing environment that allows children to develop independence, confidence, and a positive sense of themselves and the world around them. We are currently seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team and provide exceptional care and education to children in our facility. We are currently looking for a staff member to join our team to be a Assistant Teacher (12:30pm-6:00pm) . Guarnteed 30 hours weekly!

Duties:

Provide and maintain a safe, clean and healthy learning environment for children Ensure a suitable environment for children's development and implement appropriate, quality, programs and activities to promote each child's physical, social, cultural, emotional and intellectual development Encourage supportive and productive relationships with families, staff and the community Maintain developmental records for each child and all other routine forms Promote respect for the rights of the child Develop and implement appropriate behavior guidance policies, which relate to children's development levels

Skills:

• Experience working in a childcare setting or similar environment (not required)
• Ability to manage children's behavior effectively
• Certification in First Aid and CPR (REQUIRED but we can get you certified once hired!)
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Understanding of childhood development stages
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
