Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in experience in classroom management, an overall team player, and knowledge in child development. This role involves creating an engaging learning environment, developing curriculum, and implementing effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students. The Lead Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages academic and personal growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students. Educate students in various subjects, with a focus on math and behavioral health concepts. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and curriculum updates. Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Monitor student performance and adapt teaching methods as necessary to ensure all learners succeed. Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, and behavioral observations. Skills Excellent classroom management skills to create a conducive learning environment. Ability to educate students while employing behavioral therapy techniques tailored for individual needs. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of behavioral health practices relevant to classroom settings. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable. Competence in curriculum development that promotes inclusive education practices.
