Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's growth while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development for infants and toddlers. Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times during classroom activities, playtime, and naps. Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and dressing, following health and safety guidelines. Engage children in interactive play that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning through sensory experiences. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities to foster strong relationships. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and materials regularly. Follow all mandated reporting laws and health protocols to ensure compliance with licensing standards. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within the classroom. Ability to stand, sit, walk, and lift children or supplies as needed throughout the day.
