Preschool & Daycare Teachers (Lead & Assistant)

Job Description

At EarlyDay, we are searching for passionate, dedicated, and nurturing professionals who are ready to use their experience and training to make a difference in children's lives. We have exciting opportunities available across multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers in Needham, Dedham, and surrounding areas in Norfolk County. We are hiring for both Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers across our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
Teacher Responsibilities:
Interact affectionately and respectfully with children Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate professionally and warmly with children, families, and peers Collaborate effectively with other teachers and school staff members. Follow all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising the children at all times. Teacher Qualifications (all teaching positions): Must be 17 years or older High School diploma (or equivalent) is required Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or similar child care setting Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment All candidates must meet Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) requirements for their role
Lead Teachers/Teachers:
EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree/experience required
Assistant Teachers/Floaters:
Certification preferred but not required; prior classroom experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of classroom experience in a childcare center or preschool setting Experience developing lesson plans, leading classrooms, and engaging with families about child development Make a difference in daycare and preschool education with EarlyDay and apply today.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
